As for Philly, the team has a star rookie of its own on its hands in defensive tackle Jalen Carter, the favorite for Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. Carter and other defenders, such as veteran Fletcher Cox, will need to put together a consistent effort to win the game this week after blowing a lead in the team's final drive last week against the Seattle Seahawks.
In order for the Eagles to get back in the win column, it will need its offense to step up. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been praised for his leadership skills, and now more than ever, the franchise needs him to step up and turn around its misfortunes by playing lights out in a Christmas Day game where all eyes will be on the reigning NFC Champions.
