The Philadelphia Eagles offense has awoken in the fourth quarter of their Week 12 tilt with the Buffalo Bills at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Eagles followed up a six-play, 62-yard touchdown drive in the the third quarter with a seven-play, 75-yard drive that saw Philadelphia find the end zone early in the fourth quarter. Hurts connected with receiver DeVonta Smith for a 15-yard touchdown pass.

It was an impressive drive overall for Smith, who caught a 33-yard pass from Hurts five plays earlier.

Still trailing 24-21, cornerback James Bradberry then responded by intercepting Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, who had been putting together a tremendous game prior to the errant throw.

The Eagles took advantage of one of the only mistakes Allen has made all day. On third-and-15, Hurts found receiver Olamide Zaccheaus for a go-ahead, 29-yard touchdown pass.

After defeating the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs last week, the Eagles are 9-1 and looking to become the first NFL team with 10 wins this season. If they defeat the Bills, the Eagles will also be the first team in the sport to clinch a postseason spot. Additionally, a win would put the Eagles closer to winning their second consecutive NFC East title.

Meanwhile, the 6-5 Bills entered the day as one of the first teams out of the postseason picture in the loaded AFC. Coach Sean McDermott -- once the defensive coordinator for the Eagles under Andy Reid -- seemingly has a warm seat as the Bills have disappointed thus far in 2023. The Bills have won the AFC East in each of the last three seasons, but failed to get over the hump and reach their first Super Bowl since the 1990s.
