The Atlanta Falcons could be back in the trade market after the Minnesota Vikings moved back into the first round of the NFL Draft.

The first round of the NFL Draft is shaking up.

The Houston Texans, who held the No. 23 overall selection, traded back down into the second round with the Minnesota Vikings, who now hold that pick and No. 11 overall.

Considering the Atlanta Falcons signed Cousins away from the Vikings, Minnesota is in need of a quarterback and may need to move into the top 10 in order to do so.

Perhaps the Falcons can help out the team they just put in the situation to need a quarterback?

The Falcons have the No. 8 pick in the draft with no clear-cut direction they need to go in. Quarterback was an option before signing Cousins and receiver was an idea before the team traded for Rondale Moore from the Arizona Cardinals.

While the team could stay and take one of the better defensive prospects on the board, they could trade back and acquire more assets.

The Vikings are only three picks behind the Falcons, but they could be a stepping stone to help them land the quarterback they want. Maybe the Vikings would also use the No. 8 pick to move up further, but it's clear Minnesota is trying to get several pieces in order to make a big splash.

If Atlanta feels the sacrifice is worth it, maybe it makes sense to move back a few picks in the grand scheme of things.

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25-27.
