Weaknesses
- Slightly shorter than average offensive tackle
- Creative hand usage but hands can be too patience at times which can lead to vulnerability handling power
- Play strength is solid but excellent power EDGE rushers may get the best of his anchor at times
- Can commit his hips a bit too early on an island against wide rushes
- Can lean too much when blocking on the move – can lead to lunge
- Took all but one snap at right tackle in college (did play left guard in high school)

Summary
Armand Membou is an explosive offensive tackle who is light on his feet and fluid enough to exercise precision with his framing and placement, which, combined with his center of gravity and control, allow him to recover if out of position.
Membou blends excellent finesse with solid power with good – varied – footwork and an excellent ability to defend counter moves. Although his hands can get wide and stay low for slightly too long, his ability to gain the chest and control is an asset.
He is a good run blocker who optimally positions himself and maintains a low profile at the point of attack. Membou understands how to maintain a half-man relationship in pass protection, while knowing how to combo & climb and finish blocks with solid authority.
Membou has all the physical tools to thrive in the NFL. With some development, Membou could quickly rise to be one of the better – more gifted – tackles in the NFL.
