4:40 p.m.: Well, this needs to be worth monitoring. Adam Schefter of ESPN has reported that Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell has talked to the Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn about swapping picks tonight.
Here’s something worth monitoring tonight: Jaguars’ GM Dave Caldwell just called Lions’ GM Bob Quinn about this evening’s picks, per source.

If a team moves up into the top three, they are typically moving up for a quarterback. Who would be the Jaguars' target? Likely Oregon's Justin Herbert or Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa, but defenders such as Jeff Okudah, Derrick Brown, and Isaiah Simmons could be options as well.
For an idea of what the compensation will be like, we wrote a few weeks ago what the trade compensation has been recently when teams trade up in the top-10.
7:50 p.m.: The draft is at last only minutes away. It appears the Cincinnati Bengals are prepared to make LSU quarterback Joe Burrow the first overall pick, leading to the question of who will fall down the board for the Jaguars.
Our final prediction? The Jaguars take Clemson swiss army knife Isaiah Simmons at No. 9 overall and LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson at No. 20.
8:08 p.m.: The 2020 NFL Draft is beginning, and no trades for either Yannick Ngakoue or Leonard Fournette have taken place. Not the most surprising development, but official now.
8:11 p.m.: Jaguars co-owner Tony Khan is prepared for the draft along with his father, team owner Shad Khan.
Thank you @Jaguars fans & staff & everyone supporting the team for tonight’s @NFL Draft! We’ve spent many months preparing & I hope we have a great draft for you all. I’m working at home with my Dad, we’ve both been in isolation & hadn’t seen each other for weeks, it’s been nice! pic.twitter.com/ITkSkEgoc8

8:25 p.m.: There it is. Joe Burrow is the new No. 1 overall pick and is now a Cincinnati Bengal. Washington up next.
8:34 p.m.: And there goes pick No. 2 with Chase Young to Washington. The first and second picks went exactly as we have all predicted since the end of the regular season.
8:38 p.m.: The No. 1 cornerback goes off the board to the Detroit Lions at No. 3. No Jeff Okudah for the Jaguars at No. 9 or in a trade. Rough news for Jacksonville.
8:47 p.m.: The New York Giants unsurprisingly go with an offensive tackle here, selecting Georgia left tackle Andrew Thomas. We were high on Thomas, and he finds a home with New York.
8:55 p.m.: The second quarterback is off the board! Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa goes to the Miami Dolphins at No. 5. Looking like Derrick Brown or Isaiah Simmons will be there for the Jaguars.
9:02 p.m.: Another quarterback off the board. This time it is Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert to the Los Angeles Chargers. One of Simmons, Browns, and Wirfs will all be available.
9:06 p.m.: The Carolina Panthers have taken Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown, leading to an amazing situation for the Jacksonville Jaguars. They can take Wirfs or Simmons.
9:15 p.m.: Isaiah Simmons off the board to the Cardinals. What a loss for the Jaguars, who have had two top defenders now selected in front of them.
9:26 p.m.: Jaguars miss out on Simmons and Brown and instead land C.J. Henderson. How do you feel with that pick?
9:27 p.m.: Cleveland predictably goes with offensive tackle here, taking Jedrick Wills.
9:38 p.m.: Another offensive tackle gone as Mekhi Becton goes to the Jets. Like that pick a lot for the Jets.
9:42 p.m.: The first wide receiver off of the board is Henry Ruggs III, who is the No. 12 overall selection by the Las Vegas Raiders.
9:48 p.m.: Tristan Wirfs to Tampa Bay, and all of the top offensive tackles are off the board 13 picks into the draft.
10:03 p.m.: Javon Kinlaw to San Francisco 49ers. Was mocked to the Jaguars often, but they never seem that interested in him at No. 9 overall.
10:05 p.m.: Jerry Jeudy to Denver to join Courtland Sutton. Great pick by John Elway, and CeeDee Lamb continues to fall.
10:12 p.m.: And the No. 16 pick is Clemson cornerback A.J. Terrell. Jaguars will have their shot at a top wide receiver at No. 20.
10:20 p.m.: CeeDee Lamb goes to the Dallas Cowboys at No. 17 overall, giving Dak Prescott a top pass-catching option on the outside across from Amari Cooper.
10:28 p.m.: Austin Jackson to the Dolphins. Justin Jefferson will be there for the Jaguars, if they want him.
10:33 p.m.: Ohio State cornerback Damon Arnette to the Raiders with the No. 19 pick, which is a shocker. We knew they wouldn't go wide receiver again, but Arnette?
10:45 p.m.: Josh Allen seems happy with the Jaguars pick.
It’s going to be a MOVIE!!! @S4CKGURU

11:05 p.m.: How do we feel about the Jaguars' picks right now? Obvious they went for loads of potential.
