Garrett Wilson Headlines Jets' Quartet in SI Fantasy Mock Draft

Four Gang Green players, including QB Aaron Rodgers, were among the 140 selections

Sports Illustrated conducted a 10-team NFL fantasy mock draft and four New York Jets landed on rosters.

Each fantasy team made 14 selections apiece, meaning a total of 140 players were drafted. No kickers or defenses were selected in the mock draft for the standard PPR scoring league.

Minnesota Vikings' receiver Justin Jefferson was the No. 1 overall pick.

Garrett Wilson was Gang Green's first player off the board. The second-year wide receiver went to Team John Pluym with the No. 13 overall pick. Wilson was the seventh receiver taken.

Jets' running back Breece Hall lasted until midway through Round 4, going to Team Bill Enright at No. 36 overall. Hall will be Enright's RB1 as the fantasy manager used his first three selections on receivers.

Wilson and Hall both displayed Top 10 potential at their respective positions as rookies in 2022.

In spite of an unstable quarterback situation, Wilson went over the 200-point mark in PPR scoring by making 83 catches for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, Hall totaled 681 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns on 99 touches over a 6.5-game sample size.

Offseason addition Allen Lazard joined Wilson on Team Pluym, who used his late ninth-round pick on the former Green Bay Packer. Lazard, who led the Packers with 60 receptions for 788 yards last year, holds extra value for his familiarly with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his ability as a redzone target.

Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, landed on Team Matthew Verderame in Round 13. Rodgers will be QB2 on the fantasy team behind the Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes. Despite owning the No. 16 quarterback ranking on SI Fantasy analyst Michael Fabiano's latest list, Rodgers's history of a high touchdown-to-interception passing ratio makes him an appealing late-round choice.
