Ravens Ink Jets' Free-Agent Target Odell Beckham

The Baltimore Ravens rained on the New York Jets’ Easter parade.
With free-agent receiver Odell Beckham scheduled to visit Gang Green on Monday per CBS Sports' Josina Anderson, the Ravens have reportedly reached a contract agreement with Beckham on Easter Sunday.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport posted the news via Twitter, reporting the one-year deal to be worth up to $18 million. Rapoport also credited NFL Network colleagues Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo for contributing to the report.
On Saturday, Anderson claimed that Beckham was due to travel into the New York area on Sunday for a Monday meeting with Jets’ brass.

The Ravens, however, had other ideas. Baltimore has added an offensive playmaker despite the uncertainty surrounding quarterback Lamar Jackson, who said he has requested a trade out of town.
Beckham, who is working his way back from a second ACL tear, hasn’t seen game action since suffering injury in Super Bowl LVI on February 13, 2022. He last played a full NFL season as a Cleveland Brown in 2019, which also marked the last time he has produced a 1,000-yard receiving campaign.
The three-time Pro Bowler, who was drafted by the New York Giants at No. 12 overall in 2014, has made 531 receptions for 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns in 96 career regular season appearances.
Meanwhile, the Jets were looking at Beckham almost as a luxury after having already added receivers Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman earlier in free agency.
Gang Green has an appealing trio leading its receiving corps. Wilson, the WR1, was the 2022 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Lazard was Aaron Rodgers' favorite target last year in Green Bay. Hardman has been a key contributor to two Super Bowl champion teams with Kansas City.
