The New York Jets' social media team has been busy at work on what is an historic day for the franchise.

There to greet new quarterback Aaron Rodgers upon his arrival at the team facility, the Jets' creative staff captured the highly-anticipated moments and has shared those images across the worldwide web.

After the Jets and the Green Bay Packers came to a trade agreement on Monday, Rodgers made his debut appearance in Florham Park on Wednesday. The organization has scheduled an introductory press conference for 2:00 pm ET.

Here's footage of Rodgers posted to the Jets' team Twitter account:

Team owner Woody Johnson also shared a video via his personal Twitter account.

Johnson has been active on the social media site in recent days. Yesterday, he tweeted, "It’s a beautiful day at One Jets Drive."

On Monday, shortly after the Rodgers' trade news broke, the Jets' head man posted a simple, "How’s everyone feeling?"

The Jets are sending four Draft selections to Green Bay as its compensation package for the future Hall-of-Fame signal caller.

The Packers receive three 2023 choices (No. 13, No. 42 and No. 207) along with a 2024 conditional pick that will gain first-round value should Rodgers play at least 65 percent of offensive snaps during the 2023 campaign.

The acquisition of Rodgers has sparked excitement throughout the Jets' organization and its fan base.

"I can speak to upstairs where we were with football operations and all the scouts, all the coaches, there were some high fives and hugs and a lot of excitement," said Douglas about the reaction to the  Monday's Rodgers news.

While it fell below what have become his statistical norms, Rodgers accounted for a 64.6 completion percentage while throwing for 26 touchdowns to 12 interceptions last season. Over that same time, four Jets’ quarterbacks combined for 14 touchdown passes, 14 interceptions and a 56.98 completion percentage.

"We’re obviously excited about this opportunity, excited about this deal and excited to add him to the team," said Douglas.
