Darius Robinson Attends Lions Local Pro Day Workout

Lions are hosting a local workout for prospects this week.

The Detroit Lions are hosting local draft prospects for a workout Tuesday at the team's Allen Park practice facility.

According to the Detroit Free Press, "The Lions typically host around two dozen prospects for local day visits and/or workouts."

Local visits do not count against the top-30 list of prospects that are allowed to have more in-depth conversations and meetings with teams ahead of the draft.

Missouri EDGE Darius Robinson, who is projected to be a first round selection, is reportedly among the list of local prospects in attendance for workouts.

In his final season in Missouri, Robinson recorded 42 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in 12 games.

The talented defensive lineman expressed at the scouting combine he would be thrilled to be selected by the Lions, as he grew up in Michigan as a supporter of the team.

“I play every position. I can play from a zero to a nine,” Robinson told reporters. “I’m going to play physical, I’m going to run, I’m going hit somebody. I can do everything and I just want an opportunity to just put my cleats in the ground and play as fast as I can.”
