Dan Campbell Riled Up Lions with Epic Video against Packers

In this story:
Dan Campbell has established himself as a head coach who is able to motivate his players.
After starting the 2022 season off by losing six of their first seven games, it would have been easy for the roster to mail it in and look ahead to the 2023 season.
Instead, Campbell remained true to himself, and made the necessary adjustments schematically, with the coaching staff, to maximize the potential of one of the youngest rosters in the National Football League.

Ahead of Detroit's season finale with the Green Bay Packers, Campbell put together a montage of all the discussions in the media predicting that the Packers would win. It also featured members of the opposition not giving the Lions the proper amount of respect.
Appearing on the latest edition of the "Go Long" podcast, running back Jamaal Williams shared just how impactful the video was before the team took the field in the season finale.
“Before we left, he played like a promo cut of everybody just talking s**t about us," Williams shared. "They were saying, 'Oh, yeah, it’s the Cinderella game for the Packers. They goin to bust into the playoffs. I'm just like, huh?' It was only like two minutes, two and a half minutes, but that was enough for me to be like 'aight, fo sho.' I already had it in me already. I was already simmering.
"But then, he really made me simmer," Williams continued. "I had to really simmer. When I went out to pregame, I already knew. I was was going to put on heavy metal, everything. It had everything. It had media, it had Aaron on there talking s**t. Aaron Jones is my boy. He was like 'Oh, yeah, we goin' to the playoffs. Yeah!' I was like, 'We didn’t even talk that whole week. We didn't.'"
Even though the team missed out on the playoffs, Detroit was able to leave Lambeau Field victorious, its second victory over the Packers in 2022.
And here's Jamaal Williams on that emotional win over Green Bay. Many factors, from losing loved ones to Dan Campbell's motivational ploy. (And the HC never even told the team they were eliminated. Williams had zero clue.) pic.twitter.com/9TWQIgR37C
