Look: Kerby Joseph Hands Owner Sheila Hamp Interception

Lions safety Kerby Joseph is always around the football!

Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph continues to make plays at minicamp.

After a stellar rookie campaign, Joseph is expected to start opposite of Tracy Walker or C.J. Gardner-Johnson this upcoming season.

On Day 2, the second-year safety was able to intercept veteran quarterback Jared Goff on the second play of 11-on-11 drills.

After the interception, the young defensive back excitedly ran towards the sideline.

When Joseph spotted owner Sheila Hamp, the intercepted ball landed in her possession, as he proceeded to celebrate excitedly with teammates.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell was asked if the younger players on the roster could be pumped up having Gardner-Johnson be so vocal on the back-end.

"I think they’re just trying to figure out what’s going on here," said Campbell. "I think they see it, and then they don’t know if they should say something because they do that to the wrong veteran, then they’re going to get (in trouble) and then it’s like, ‘Well, I guess I shouldn’t have said it.’ And then, the defensive guy would be like, ‘Why are you talking (expletive) to him?’ So, ‘It’s a veteran. You don’t do that. You should know better.’ So, they’re just trying to find their way right now. They’ll figure it out.”
