Jeff Okudah Not Likely to Play against Bills

In this story:
The Detroit Lions were already facing a tough challenge on Thanksgiving, having to suit up against the Buffalo Bills.
After a surprise victory against the Giants Sunday, Lions head coach Dan Campbell discussed the potential of cornerback Jeff Okudah, who exited Detroit's Week 11 contest prematurely, playing on short notice.
"We just talked about it. I don't think there's any way possible," Campbell told reporters, after the Lions' 31-18 victory over the Giants.
Against the Giants, Detroit's third-year cornerback left, and did not return after colliding with teammate Will Harris.

Okudah is currently in the league's concussion protocol, and there is not enough time to likely clear him to play against one of the NFL's top teams.
In recent weeks, Detroit's defense has been able to force several turnovers. Safety Kerby Joseph secured one of two interceptions against the Giants Sunday.
Against the Bills, the Lions, in the place of Okudah, will likely turn to Amani Oruwariye, who has seen his playing time diminish over the past few weeks.
"This isn’t the end for me at all," Oruwariye told reporters, after he was benched earlier this season. "Just a bump in the road, just adversity, just testing me, making me remind myself you can’t take any day for granted. And, that was good. I needed that reflection."
