With the 2026 NFL Draft around the corner, the best drafting team, the Los Angeles Rams are getting ready to make it another draft in which they get great players.

The Rams have been doing that over the last few years, and they are looking to do the same in this year's draft. The Rams are looking to make their team as great as they could and the draft is one way they do that. It is a time for the Rams to steal players that no one has on their radar, or ones that teams actually do.

Teams have been looking to figure out how the Rams go about drafting their players, but they have not found the formula. The Rams have it, and this year, they have a first-round pick, something that they did not have last year.

Not only do they have a pick in the first round, but it is high for a team that reached the NFC Championship last year. That is the reality for the Rams; they have the 13th overall pick and are looking to make it count in this draft.

First Round Pick for Rams most interesting

The Rams are in a good and interesting position at 13, because they could go in so many different ways. The Rams roster is stacked already going into next year. Most of their holes have been filled this offseason, and they could trade back if there is a team looking to move up in the draft. The Rams will not hesitate to make a move to get more draft picks if it makes sense for their team and they could be looking at the future. One of the few things that the Rams do well in the draft.

There is a pick that the Rams could make with their first-round pick that will send shock waves across the NFL, and it will be the first pick that will turn heads in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Rams could go out and pick their future quarterback, Ty Simpson, out of the University of Alabama with the 13th overall pick. That pick will mess up other teams' draft, as they could be looking to draft Simpson. Simpson is the second overall quarterback in this class.

Simpson will give the Rams a quarterback for the future and a quarterback who will learn under one of the best quarterbacks of our time, Matthew Stafford. Do not count out the Rams taking Simpson in the first round.
