In this story:

The Baltimore Ravens are one of the better teams in the NFL at running the football. Known for their ability to stick with the run and produce results, the Ravens are tough to stop once up and running.

Last season saw four different running backs rotate, with Kenyan Drake, J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill all getting snaps.

But ... that is a crowded room. So, will someone make way?

That someone may be soon-to-be free agent Drake.

Older than the rest of the running back group, Drake was the bell cow at times for the Ravens as he led the team in carries (109), totaling 483 yards, and averaged 4.4 yards per carry.

But looking at the output of the others in the running back room, Drake could be cast aside.

Dobbins rushed for 520 yards and averaged 5.2 yards per carry from his 92 attempts, along with two touchdowns. Edwards rushed for 433 yards, had at 5.0 yards per carry average, and had three touchdowns. Hill was equally as good, rushing for 262 yards from his 49 carries and averaged 5.3 yards per carry.

All three have better production than Drake, and seeing as he is also a free agent, the Ravens could move on from him in favor of the more "youthful" trio currently on the roster.

Dobbins appears to be the starter heading into next season, with Edwards and Hill providing relief, not to mention either Lamar Jackson or Tyler Huntley, who are excellent at running the football.

It all points to Drake being the odd man out, and with such options at the running back position, the Ravens are spoilt for choice. Unfortunately for Drake, he may not be the Ravens' choice heading into next season.
