Week 18: Saints Inactives List vs. Falcons

In this story:
This is the final inactive report for the regular season is in for the Saints, which sees them be without a key player for their offensive attack but getting back some pass rush help. Here's who won't be playing when New Orleans suits up against Atlanta for Week 18.
Saints Inactives vs. Falcons - Week 18
- QB Jake Haener
- WR Keith Kirkwood
- DB Lonnie Johnson (knee)
- RB Alvin Kamara (ankle)
- OL Landon Young (knee)
- LB Monty Rice
- DE Kyle Phillips
A.T. Perry (illness), Juwan Johnson (chest), Khalen Saunders (concussion), Kendre Miller (ankle/illness), Payton Turner (toe) and J.T. Gray (illness) were all questionable coming in, as was Alvin Kamara with the ankle injury, but it was reported earlier that he would not play.
In addition to getting Turner back, New Orleans will also have Isaiah Foskey for the first time since in over a month. Kendre Miller makes his first appearance since exiting Week 9's game against the Bears, and he'll be a big part of the team's rushing attack plan without Kamara in the lineup.

I officially started covering the New Orleans Saints & other NFL topics in 2011. My work has been featured on various outlets over the years. I worked closely with Skyhorse Publishing in Fall 2018 to update the book, Tales From the New Orleans Saints Sidelines, which filled in all Saints material from the 2013-2017 seasons. Prior to joining Saints News Network, I served as the Managing Editor of SB Nation's Canal Street Chronicles for 3.5 years, and before that with FanSided's Who Dat Dish as the Managing Editor for several years. I have also had experiences of being a freelance Saints reporter for The Sun Herald in Biloxi, MS and a contributing writer for WDSU, a local NBC TV station in New Orleans. I have appeared on a vast amount of TV and Radio shows, both nationally and locally. For tips, comments, or suggestions, please contact me at johnhendrix@saintsnews.net
