Seattle Seahawks 'Vehemently Deny' Reports of New Uniforms

Despite several reports of a uniform redesign, the Seattle Seahawks will retain the same set of looks next season.

Now that the calendar has turned to April, it's officially uniform redesign season as multiple teams have confirmed the unveiling of new uniforms later this month.

Despite multiple rumors earlier in the year, the Seattle Seahawks will not be among those teams. According to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, the Seahawks have "vehemently denied" any rumors or reports of a redesign coming this season.

"There have been rumors in some circles of new uniforms for the Seahawks this year. Those were vehemently denied here at league meetings. So, sorry if you wanted new duds, but Seahawks will stick in 2024 with the 4 they had last year --- home, road, throwbacks and action green," Condotta wrote on X.

Condotta later added that the Seahawks have no plans to introduce a white throwback jersey, at least not at this time.

Seattle has stuck with the same set of primary jerseys since Nike began making NFL uniforms in 2012. That redesign saw the Seahawks move to a slightly different color scheme that prominently features "College Navy" and "Action Green," as the team officially calls them.

The "Action Green" uniforms came about in 2016 as part of the NFL's Color Rush initiative, while the immensely-popular throwback uniforms made their triumphant return in 2023.

As it stands, the Seahawks have one of the most-diverse uniform sets in the entire league, so their team sees no need to fix what isn't broken.
