The second phase of OTA workouts will start just over a month later, from May 27th to 29th, June 1st, 2nd, and 4th, which will then be followed by phase three, consisting of mandatory minicamps that will span from June 9th to 11th.

As to when the Texans' training camp is set to take place before next season, those dates are still yet to be determined, as is their official season schedule, which will become clearer later in May once the NFL released the upcoming slate of games across the league.
However, we now have an idea of when exactly the Texans players and staff will be in the building working behind the scenes preparing for a 2026 campaign that has a ton of potential following some busy offseason work to upgrade their roster before the draft has even started.

And while there's bound to be more dates unveiled in the coming weeks detailing more of the upcoming schedule for the 2026-27 campaign, here's what to expect for the Texans and their offseason program between now and when minicamps take place later in June:
Texans Voluntary Offseason Program: April 20th
The first phase of the Texans' offseason program begins right before the NFL Draft, where players will have the option of participating in meetings and strength and conditioning drills with the team.
It marks the first time of the offseason that players will be back in the building for team-organized activities, allowing Texans' free agent additions to get adjusted in an organized setting with their new roster.
Texans OTA Offseason Workouts: May 27 - June 4
This is the second phase of offseason training where non-contact and on-field drills come into play. Texans players will have the option to come into the building again for a select few days to be involved with team-organized activities once again.
Compared to mandatory minicamps, this time of offseason training tends to focus on offensive and defensive units practicing together rather than against one another in a 7-on-7 or 11-on-11 format. Media will also get a chance to speak to various players and staff members.
Texans Mandatory Minicamp: June 9 - June 11
The Texans' first mandatory offseason training will arrive for three days in the second week of June, allowing players to wear helmets, albeit without contact, but participate in "live" situations.
If players don't attend mandatory minicamps, they can be fined upwards of $100,000 in the event they miss the entire three days without an excused absence. Contact and padded practices won't take place until training camp gets kickstarted in July with dates TBA.
