NASHVILLE - Now that all the speculation and discussion of draft prospects is behind us, it's time to move forward to the next big thing to talk about ad nauseam until training camps begin—depth charts.

On Monday, Ourlads and ESPN released their Tennessee Titans depth chart version. While these charts are interesting to read, they are only for entertainment since the Titans and the rest of the league have yet to get their newly drafted rookie and undrafted free agent signees on a practice field for their first rookie minicamp as NFL players.

On their team website, the Titans clearly state that there will be no depth chart until the preseason, so what you are reading on these and other sides are the writer's opinions, no matter how educated as to who will start at each position.

Some of them, like Jeffery Simmons, Derrick Henry, and Kevin Byard, are correct, but those are easy. Others like Peter Skoronski at left guard are guesses at this point.

It's possible, Skoronski does earn a starting spot, but it could be at left tackle, not necessarily left guard, as these sites project. It's also possible that Dillon Radunz or another returning roster member will win that spot.

Left guard isn't the only position where these sites project a player as a starter when there is no evidence that person is the leader for that role. With Ourlads, they had inserted Will Levis as the number two quarterback on their depth chart when head coach Mike Vrabel clearly stated last week during the draft that Levis was the No. 3 behind Malik Willis.

So in summation, take these depth charts with a grain of salt, and don't look for me to be charting one until training camp begins. Then we will see what the coaches are putting on the field because they are the only ones writing a depth chart that matter!
