NASHVILLE - Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has said repeatedly during this offseason portion of the league year that he and Ran Carthon are constantly looking to upgrade this roster, and they would be open to adding players who could help this team improve.

While no one doubts that statement, a little thing of the salary cap plays a part in how much they can spend to add those potential upgrades.

As of Friday, June 2, the Titans stood at No. 26 in the league in available cap dollars, according to a report from CBS Sports, based on figures provided by Over The Cap.

That figure is $7,737,260 million in available cash for Carthon and Vrabel to spend. However, the possibility remains of them restructuring some current contracts to increase that number.

Players who could potentially have their contracts restructured to add cash to the Titans cap number include Harold Landry, Denico Autry, Kevin Byard, Derrick Henry, and Ryan Tannehill.

As for the total amount invested in free agency in this cycle, the Titans have spent $76,367,500 million, including rookie contracts.

That figure ranks then No. 24 in total spending, ahead of the Rams, Packers, Jaguars, Chargers, Cowboys, Cardinals, Dolphins, and Eagles, who have spent less.
