Tennessee Titans Release Final Injury Report and Make Roster Moves Ahead of Week 3, DeAndre Hopkins Questionable

The Tennessee Titans completed their week of practice and released the final injury report of Week 3 ahead of their matchup with the Cleveland Browns. We also saw a few roster moves including Kearis Jackson going on injured reserve.

The Tennessee Titans' injury list continues to get longer as we head into Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season, but the Titans are in a much better position than they were a week ago as they have only ruled out two players as of Friday.

Injury Report Friday 09/22

One of those players was rookie offensive lineman Peter Skoronski, who has expected to miss this game after having a procedure on his appendix prior to the Los Angeles Chargers game.

One player who is still up in the air is wide receiver Deandre Hopkins. Hopkins will travel with the team to Cleveland, but is currently questionable after missing practice on Friday. Hopkins didn't practice at all leading up to Week 2, so there is a good chance the veteran is ready to roll.

Along with Hopkins you have veteran defensive lineman Denico Autry and rookie defensive back Anthony Kendall as questionable. Kendall may be just a special teams piece, but Autry is one of the keys to the Titans' pass rush and would be sorely missed.

The Titans will see the return of two members of the starting secondary in safety Amani Hooker and cornerback Kristian Fulton. Both players missed the Chargers game, but will be back out on the field on Sunday.

One under-the-radar name the Titans will be missing is starting returner Kearis Jackson. Jackson was hurt during practice this week and will miss this game. Jackson will be placed on injured reserve and will miss a minimum of four games.

To fill his role as the kickoff and punt returner, the Titans have signed practice squad receiver Mason Kinsey to the active roster while also adding linebacker Chance Campbell. To open an additional spot, linebacker Otis Reese Jr. was waived.

For the Cleveland Browns, they have ruled out cornerback Greg Newsome for this game. The Browns secondary has been a great unit so far this year, so a tough blow for Cleveland, but after missing their top corner against the Chargers, the Titans will likely lack sympathy.
