Titans To Interview Cowboys DC Dan Quinn In-Person For Coaching Opening

Tennessee Titans leadership will interview Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn at the team facility for the Titans coaching vacancy. Quinn is one of three coaches expected to interview in person this week.

NASHVILLE— Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk and general manager Ran Carthon are narrowing down who they will hire to fill the coaching opening created by the team parting ways with Mike Vrabel.

According to multiple reports, Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will interview in person on Wednesday at the team facility.

Quinn started working in the NFL in 2001 as a defensive quality control coach for the San Francisco 49ers. He oversaw defensive lines for the 49ers, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets. Quinn also served as assistant head coach for the Seattle Seahawks under Pete Carroll's coaching staff.

Quinn was the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 2015 to 2020, and during his tenure, the team achieved a 43-42 record. In 2016, the Falcons made it to the Super Bowl but lost after squandering a 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots, who eventually won in overtime.

The Titans also have in-person interviews with Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown and Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan this week.

Quinn is set to have on-site interviews with the Washington Commanders and Seahawks this week.
