The Broncos made headlines when they released longtime kicker Brandon McManus earlier this offseason. According to a report from Pro Football Talk, Broncos head coach Sean Payton said at the time that the team “would consider other options.”
“Look, that’s not the only position we’re going to keep looking at,” Payton said. “One of the things that I learned early on, which was interesting — and Bill Parcells taught me this — when he would talk to the team, he would say, ‘Don’t pay attention to the depth chart, just in your meeting room.”
Bullock, who Tennessee released in February after spending the last two years with the team, made 43-of-51 field goals and 70-of-73 extra points over that span.
For his NFL career, Bulluck is 211-of-253 on field goals and 285-of-298 extra points in 138 career games with the Titans, Bengals, Steelers, Giants, Bengals, Jets, and Texans.
