Road Warriors: Titans Face Difficult 3 Game Stretch on the Road

In this story:
NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans schedule was released to the world on Thursday evening and while we always knew the Titans' opponents knowing the order the games go in is a huge detail we are just learning. The first thing that pops out when looking at the Titans' schedule is three games in a row that will be played on the road in the middle of the season.
This is a stretch that will test the Titans in multiple ways. Of course, it is difficult to play three road games in a row, but each of them present their own challenges. Let's take a closer look at this stretch of games that will be the biggest test the Titans face in 2023.
Week 9 - Away at Pittsburgh Steelers(Thursday Night Football)
The Titans tend to struggle with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yes, the Titans have beaten them at points throughout history, but even the wins seem to be tough to get. The Steelers were close to making the playoffs last year and have an improved team. It's tough to play in Pittsburgh any time, but add in that it is a primetime game on a short week and you have about as tough of a matchup as you can get on this schedule.
Winning will be critical though as Pittsburgh will likely be one of the teams the Titans are battling with for playoff spots or position. It may take a Herculean effort from Derrick Henry to pull out a victory and with so much at stake, the Titans will need it.
Week 10 - Away at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This just has to be a win for the Titans. I included it in "Must Win" section already. The Titans' best chance to avoid going 0-3 in this stretch is to win this game in Tampa. They will have ten days of rest before the game due to playing on Thursday night the week prior.
Also, the Bucs aren't a particularly great roster and have a poor quarterback room with Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask. The Titans will rarely have a quarterback advantage this season, so capitalizing in this situation when they do will be key.
Week 11 - Away at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Titans first matchup against Jacksonville since losing to them at the end of the season comes in Week 11. Late in the season, it could be obvious at this stage that the Titans will be fighting with Jacksonville for the division crown. Going into Jacksonville and re-establishing dominance could really boost the season forward for the Titans like they hit a speed ramp in a video game.
Reminding Jacksonville who runs the south and gaining that confidence is exactly what this team needs. Also, if the Titans can go 2-1 in this three-game rodeo including a win of Jacksonville, it would be a major win.
