NASHVILLE - When the Tennessee Titans take to the practice field this week for the minicamp practice sessions, three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) will be open to the media as the team continues working toward training camp and the coming season.

While not much will have changed from when we last attended the OTA practice last week, there will still be many things to watch and cover over those three days.

Of course, one of the most covered parts will likely be the play of rookie quarterback Will Levis, who, by all accounts, struggled with accuracy and other things last week that led him to display his unhappiness, and head coach, Mike Vrabel, to say the team would "payroll deduct" the cost of any damages to the helmet equipment in his post-practice comments.

There's also the continuing Treylon Burks watch, as he has impressed throughout the OTAs. Likewise, the work of his fellow receivers will continue to be monitored as the questions about that position group remain.

The offensive line will be now, and into the season, a remaining area of concern as they work to improve on last season's dismal performance.

Defensively the depth of the edge rushers will be a point of interest as players like Caleb Murphy will be tracked, while the inside linebackers will be of interest to see how the pairings and reps are divided.

Of course, the cornerbacks will be of added interest as the status of Kristian Fulton, who, according to reports, arrived last week during OTAs but did not appear on the practice field. Beyond Fulton, attention will be paid to Sean Murphy-Bunting and Roger McCreary as coaches decide who will hold down what position.

Then there is the case of Caleb Farley and whether he can get onto the field and provide something for this unit.

There's also the kicker battle between second-year leg Caleb Shudak and rookie Cody Wolff.

The biggest of all will be the status of Kevin Byard, who will likely be in attendance, though, until he is actually on the field and, through the first practice, will be reported on heavily.

So there's a lot to watch, and there should be multiple things to report. The challenge here is to find the path less traveled for storylines that everyone else won't be writing about, though there will be some overlap.
