Tannehill Says He Met DeAndre Hopkins For The First Time This Week

In this story:
NASHVILLE - The buzz surrounding the Tennessee Titans this week has been mainly centered around DeAndre Hopkins and his recent visit to Nashville. The question is, will he or won't he sign with the Titans, and if so, when?
On Wednesday, following the Titans final OTA practice session of the offseason program, quarterback Ryan Tannehill was asked if he had spoken with Hopkins during his visit on Sunday and Monday.
"Yeah, we were able to connect and spend a little time together," said Tannehill. "We had some good conversations, so we'll see what happens here."
While Tannehill had never met Hopkins previously, he seemed excited about their time together.
"Yeah, I hadn't been able to meet him before, so I really enjoyed meeting him and his girlfriend," Tannehill said. "We spent a little time together, and like I said, it was nice meeting him, and he would be a good fit here, but we'll see what happens moving forward."
As for head coach Mike Vrabel, who has a previous relationship with Hopkins from their time in Houston, he was once again non-committal towards the receiver.
"We'll continue to kind of look through where we're at as we add free agents and everything else; we'll follow up," said Vrabel. "I don't think there's anything else gonna happen here today, I imagine. But we'll follow up every time we can and have conversations and see where it goes."
As of this article, Hopkins is in New England currently, and as of yet, there have been no other visits announced.
Vrabel also mentioned that the Patriots would be coming in for two days of joint practice with the Titans prior to the team's week three preseason game.
There's a good chance that Hopkins could be participating in those practices. The question is, which uniform will he be in?
