ESPN will not be bringing back play-by-play broadcaster Joe Tessitore, nor will it bring back analyst Booger McFarland. ESPN's desire to replace the two has been well documented as they've done some big-name hunting earlier this year. The worldwide leader in sports tried landing Tony Romo and Peyton Manning, but both decided to decline the opportunity. ESPN is now going to hire within the company to replace them, but that both McFarland and Tessitore will remain in prominent roles within the company.
ESPN's new Monday Night Football broadcast team announced
ESPN announced that Joe Tessitore, Jason Witten, Booger McFarland and Lisa Salters will be the new "Monday Night Football" broadcast team starting this fall.
