The Vikings are active on the trade market, sending Harrison Phillips to the Jets and Sam Howell to the Eagles while signing Carson Wentz amid rumors of Adam Thielen possibly coming home in a trade. With the 53-man roster deadline set for 3 p.m. CT Tuesday, the rumors are roaring. Let's track them all...

9:31 p.m. — Thielen wants to return to Vikings, per Schefter

7:10 p.m. — Vikings trade CB Mekhi Blackmon to Colts for a 2026 sixth-round pick

4:30 p.m. — Amari Cooper lands with Raiders

One of the top free agent receivers is off the board, and his landing spot is notable in the context of the update below this one...

3:01 p.m. — Does Jakobi Meyers make any sense?

Meyers would be a great rental player, but this isn't Major League Baseball and there's a chance that he doesn't step on the field without a contract that goes beyond 2025. Paying Meyers is doable, but it might come at the cost of not re-signing Jordan Addison, who will be due for a big raise within the next two years.

2:31 p.m. — Vikings 'continue to scour' the WR market

1:43 p.m. — Rapoport won't be surprised if Thielen is traded to Vikings

8:40 a.m. — Thielen still the target?

“The fact they have another fifth now, I think matters in this," Ben Goessling said on the Access Vikings podcast when discussing Adam Thielen. "I think there’s a lot of interest in doing it. I think Thielen is open to the idea, excited about the idea."

12:46 p.m. — Vikings released QB Brett Rypien

With Howell traded to Philly and Carson Wentz signed to the roster, this likely indicates that Max Brosmer will be QB3. It's also possible that Brosmer is QB2 until Wentz is fully acclimated to Minnesota and head coach Kevin O'Connell's offense, but that's simply a theory.
