Boston Bruins winger Milan Lucic has been fined $5,000 for what the NHL called "an obscene gesture" made during Boston's game in Montreal, according Greg Wyshynski at Yahoo! Sports.

He was given a misconduct for making a gesture at Canadiens fans in the third period after being penalized for boarding. Lucic was later ejected after shouting something at the referee.

ESPN.com first reported that the situation was under review by the NHL.

Bruins coach Claude Julien said after the game that he had "no comments" about the penalty.
