Red Wings goaltender Petr Mrazek breaks out festive holiday mask

The holidays are often full of bad fashion statements.
Tacky sweaters boasting a cat wearing a Santa hat with jingle bells have become more of an epidemic than bad gifts and long lines at Walmart.
But one NHL goalie has been making a Christmas fashion statement that isn’t too bad, as the Red Wings’ Petr Mrazek is wearing a special mask in honor of the holiday season.

Featuring an evil snowman on the front and an angry Peter Griffin of Family Guy fame wearing a Santa suit on the back, the mask certainly catches the eye,
The words “Merry Christmas” in Czech are also written on the front, adding a nice touch.
Teammate and fellow goalie Jimmy Howard also has a holiday-themed mask, and according to Arthur Regner of FOX Sports, each player's mask will be auctioned off on Tuesday.

Mrazek has been thrust into a starting role after Howard sustained a lower body injury on Friday. His holiday mask made his starting debut on Sunday against the Avalanche.
