Watch: Rangers' Kevin Hayes scores dazzling goal vs. Islanders

Kevin Hayes put on some moves to score a dazzling goal in the final Rangers-Islanders game at the Nassau Coliseum.

Kevin Hayes put on some moves Tuesday that his former teammate at Boston College, Johnny Gaudreau, might make during the final Rangers-Islanders game at the Nassau Coliseum.

Hayes put on the ritz to score his 13th goal of the season, showing great puck presence as he tied the game at one about halfway through the second period.

Hayes was hit with a long stretch pass by Mats Zuccarello, but it appeared Thomas Hickey was there to stop him. Hayes had to make several efforts to keep the puck away from Hickey but was able to break free of him, then slid it around Jaroslav Halak to tie the game.

The Rangers went on to win 2-1 thanks to Rick Nash's tie-breaking tally in the third period.
