Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson has been fined $2,000 for diving against the Minnesota Wild on March 19, the National Hockey League announced on Friday.

Wilson, who turns 21 on Sunday, was warned following Washington’s game against Toronto on March 1, and the second citation against the Wild triggered the fine.

The fines for diving increase in $1,000 increments before leveling off at $5,000.
