Watch: Kings’ Milan Lucic sucker punches Coyotes player, is ejected

Kings winger Milan Lucic was ejected from Saturday’s game after sucker punching a Coyotes player.

Milan Lucic has never been known to pull any punches. Whether it’s been as a Los Angeles King or a Boston Bruin, whether the punches are actual punches or verbal jabs delivered through the media, Lucic has always been a little punch happy.

Arizona Coyotes defenseman Kevin Connauton might be a little “punch sad” after his run-in with Lucic on Saturday.

Yikes, that’s nasty.

Afterward, Lucic got awfully upset, seemingly at Coyotes goalie Louis Domingue.

Earlier, it was Domingue who was upset, after a controversial goal by Kings forward Nick Shore was allowed to count despite Domingue’s mask being off for several seconds before the puck crossed the goal line.

After all that, the Coyotes won 3–2 to move into third place in the Pacific Division.
