Watch: Predators’ Mattias Ekholm uses Oilers defenseman to score goal

Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm, not known as much of a scorer, had a unique goal against the Oilers on Saturday.

Nashville Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm is not known as much of a goal scorer. In fact, he entered Saturday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers with only 13 tallies in 192 career games.

Ekholm picked up his 14th and 15th career goals during Nashville’s 4–1 win at Edmonton, one of which he expertly banked off Oilers defenseman Andrej Sekera.

That is, he called “bank” if he actually “meant” to do that.
