Mats Zuccarello Injured in First Game With Stars, Out Four Weeks

CHICAGO — Dallas forwards Jamie Benn and Mats Zuccarello exited the Stars game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday because of upper-body injuries. Benn is ruled day-to-day, while newly-acquired Zuccarello is expected to miss four weeks.
Benn, who has 21 goals and 20 assists in 61 games, was hurt during the first shift of the game and went to the dressing room for evaluation.

After the second intermission, Dallas announced Zuccarello would not return to the game. He was hurt while blocking a shot in the second period.

Zuccarello was traded to the Stars Friday night after spending nine seasons with the New York Rangers. The winger had a goal and an assist before exiting the game.
