MILAN (AP) -- Diego Maradona would like to coach his former club Napoli.

The Argentina great was in Milan on Thursday to promote a video series on his life with the Gazzetta dello Sport.

He says ''when (Rafa) Benitez leaves I would like to coach Napoli.''

Maradona led Napoli to its only two Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990.

He says ''there are coaching changes all over the place, from Spain to Italy to England to Russia, but some people are afraid of me. That's why I'm not coaching.''

Maradona coached Argentina to the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup and then was in charge of Dubai-based club Al Wasl for one season.

Maradona also says that in four months he'll have been off drugs for 10 years.
