The Colombian soccer federation and U.S. Soccer have announced that the two countries will meet in a friendly on Nov. 14.

The teams will meet in London at Craven Cottage, the home stadium of Football League Championship side Fulham.

The Croatian soccer federation announced earlier this month that Croatia and the U.S. would play a friendly at the same location on Nov. 12, but a U.S. Soccer spokesman told MLSSoccer.com on Tuesday that the potential game was off the table. The Washington Post's Steve Goff reported Monday that it appeared Colombia and the U.S. would play Nov. 12 and Croatia would instead play Argentina.

As U.S. Soccer's announcement notes, a number of Americans have played at Fulham over the years, including Clint Dempsey and Brian McBride.

WAHL: USWNT one step away from qualifying for World Cup

The U.S. and Colombia were rumored in the summer to be setting up a friendly for Sept. 9 in San Antonio, but the deal fell through when Colombia reportedly failed to sign the game contract despite the teams' verbal agreement to play.

Led by Golden Boot winner and breakout star James Rodriguez, Colombia advanced to the quarterfinals at this summer's FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the best finish in the nation's history.

The U.S. and Colombia previously met in a memorable game in the U.S.-hosted 1994 World Cup, with the U.S. winning 2-1.

The U.S. has played three friendlies since this summer's World Cup, defeating the Czech Republic 1-0 on Sept. 3, drawing Ecuador 1-1 on Oct. 10 in Landon Donovan's send-off game and drawing Honduras 1-1 on Oct. 14.
