Watch: Lewandowski destroys Wolfsburg with 5 goals in 9 minutes

Bayern Munich was losing 1-0 to Wolfsburg at halftime Tuesday, in need of a spark. Robert Lewandowski provided one off the bench. And then another. And another. Then one more. And then the best of them all. In nine minutes.
Lewandowski scored an incredible five goals in nine minutes after coming in as a halftime substitute, seizing control for Bayern in stunning fashion by tallying in the 51st, 52nd, 55th, 57th and 60th minutes of an eventual 5-1 win. The player who once scored four goals in a Champions League semifinal vs. Real Madrid while at Borussia Dortmund, Lewandowski etched his name in Bayern lore with his feat at the Allianz Arena.
The Poland international pulled Bayern level six minutes into his time on the field by being in the right place at the right time to score a true poacher's finish, after a touch off Arturo Vidal fell to him on the doorstep:

He followed that up a minute later just off the restart, firing a low blast from long range:

He earned his hat trick in the 55th minute following up two rebounds of his own shots–one off the post, one saved:

Just when you thought a hat trick in four minutes was an impressive-enough accomplishment, Lewandowski added his fourth in the 57th minute, smashing home a one-timed effort off a bounding ball in the box:

To cap it off, he turned in a phenomenal side volley in the 60th minute, one that would've merited a place on the highlight reel on its own:

Wolfsburg, which beat Bayern to win the German Super Cup in August, didn't take the complete destruction all too well:
