Germany and France players both slept in the Stade de France after Friday’s terror attacks in Paris, reportsThe Guardian.

Though both teams finished their friendly while attacks were ongoing, the German national team did not leave the stadium due to safety concerns. In a show of solidarity, France’s players remained with the Germans, with both sides sleeping on mattresses in the stadium.

At least 120 were killed in the deadliest attack on France since World War II. Stade de France was one of the targets, although one suicide bomber was stopped from entering the stadium with an explosive vest.

France has a match scheduled with England in Wembley Stadium in London on Tuesday, and it is still expected to take place. The German national team is now back in Germany.
