Watch: Steve Nash brings soccer to NBA Slam Dunk Contest

The NBA Slam Dunk Contest in Toronto got an injection of soccer Saturday night.
In helping the Detroit Pistons' Andre Drummond during his second dunk, NBA great, soccer aficionado and Vancouver Whitecaps part owner Steve Nash turned in a rainbow flick assist, lifting the ball for Drummond to throw down.
It took a number of tries, but Nash was still able to pull off the assist (he does have the third-most assists in NBA history, after all). It wasn't enough to get Drummond to the final round, though, as he took a back seat to Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon's epic show.
Nevertheless, watch Nash's assist and Drummond's throw-down (from a few angles):
