Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo made his return from injury in Saturday’s match against Osasuna and wasted no time putting his name in the score sheet.

Ronaldo, who had not played since going down with a knee injury in the Euro 2016 final in early July, scored six minutes into his La Liga season debut.

Danilo played a good ball into Gareth Bale, who found Ronaldo with a perfect pass and Cristiano converted the one-touch finish.

Danilo and Sergio Ramos added goals at the end of the half to give Real Madrid a 3–0 halftime lead.

Despite Ronaldo’s absence, Real Madrid began the La Liga season with two straight wins.
