Ajax hosts Real Madrid in the first leg of a round-of-16 matchup in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Kickoff from Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.

Real Madrid, the three-time reigning Champions League winners, reached the round of 16 after winning Group G. Los Blancos are currently second in the La Liga table, trailing Barcelona by six points. Real Madrid most recently defeated Atlético Madrid 3–1 during a league contest.

Ajax advanced to the round of 16 after finishing second to Bayern Munich in Group E. The club is currently second in Eredivisie, trailing PSV Eindhoven by six points. Ajax most recently lost 1–0 to Heracles in a league match, marking just its third league loss all season.
