Just the second of 380 Premier League fixtures across the 2026–27 season is staged on Saturday, with newly promoted Hull City hosting Manchester United.

Hull’s last stint in the top flight came back in 2016–17 and the excitement will be palpable inside the MKM Stadium for the visit of the record champions. While not a favorite fixture for the Tigers—they’ve managed just one win in their last 14 attempts—little can sour their spirits on their much-anticipated return.

United are still riding a wave of positivity after the conclusion to last season and will likely sidestep a possible banana skin in their opener. Michael Carrick will demand a winning start to his permanent reign as Bruno Fernandes and Co. seek to serve Hull an almighty reality check.

Here’s how supporters can tune into an intriguing clash.

United are not involved in the upcoming round of Carabao Cup action after qualifying for European competition, meaning they don’t play again until hosting Ipswich Town on Sunday, Aug. 30.
