Man Utd XI vs. Fulham: Dorgu Replacement Chosen—Injury News, Predicted Lineup

Three Premier League victories on the bounce once seemed unthinkable for Manchester United but victory over Fulham would achieve the feat for the resurgent Red Devils.
Michael Carrick’s tenure has started with two remarkable victories over Manchester City and Arsenal, reinvigorating a squad and fanbase that had grown weary under Ruben Amorim. Consistency is everything for United moving forward, though, and they must capitalise on renewed belief on Sunday afternoon.
Fulham are no pushovers and will cause issues, especially in transition, but United are overwhelming favourites to secure three points against the Cottagers given their recent ascent.

- ⚠️ Key injuries, doubts: Matthijs de Ligt, Patrick Dorgu
- 🔢 Predicted formation: 4-2-3-1
Patrick Dorgu scored an absolute worldie against Arsenal to add to his strike against Manchester City, but the Denmark international also sustained a nasty injury at the Emirates Stadium. Just as he was getting going, the youngster will miss the next ten weeks or so with a hamstring problem.
Matthijs de Ligt remains absent in the heart of defence, although he’s edging towards a return in the near future, while Joshua Zirkzee is back in training having missed the last two games.
Otherwise, Carrick has a clean bill of health for Fulham’s visit.
Man Utd Predicted Lineup vs. Fulham (4-2-3-1)

GK: Senne Lammens—The summer recruit has somewhat flown under the radar this season but his impact has been profound. Lammens oozes confidence between the posts and has a strong command of his area.
RB: Diogo Dalot—The return of Noussair Mazraoui from the Africa Cup of Nations means Dalot must once again battle for his starting berth in the coming weeks.
CB: Harry Maguire—Maguire has dealt with Erling Haaland and Arsenal’s band of forwards admirably in recent matches and will be aiming to lock down Raúl Jiménez in similar fashion.
CB: Lisandro Martínez—Martínez’s aggressive approach and ability to play out of defence has proven invaluable early in Carrick’s reign.
LB: Luke Shaw—For Shaw, the toughest battle of those in red at Old Trafford: stopping Harry Wilson. The in-form Welshman has proved too much to handle for many full backs lately and has five goals and four assists in his last ten in all competitions.
DM: Casemiro—Casemiro has responded to official confirmation of his end-of-season exit by producing two excellent displays.
DM: Kobbie Mainoo—Carrick’s arrival and formation tweak has allowed Mainoo entry back into the team—he now appears a nailed-on starter for the foreseeable future.
RW: Amad Diallo—Amad has been overshadowed by his fellow forwards since Carrick’s appointment but it’s only a matter of time before the Ivorian comes to the fore.
AM: Bruno Fernandes—The captain’s standards barely dropped under Amorim despite questions over his future. He created 21 more chances than any other player during the opening 23 Premier League gameweeks.
LW: Matheus Cunha—Cunha has made an enormous impact from the bench under Carrick and his reward will now be a start with Dorgu out.
ST: Bryan Mbeumo—Mbeumo has led the line with distinction in the last two games and he’s now scored against Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal this term as he tops United’s goalscoring charts.
