After Richard Gasquet's win over Stan Wawrinka, the Wimbledon semifinal matchups are set for Friday.
Seven-time champion Roger Federer will face Andy Murray and top-seeded Novak Djokovic will take on Gasquet.
Federer, Murray and Djokovic have all won the title at the All England Club, but Gasquet has never been past the semifinals, also making it that far in 2007.

French Open champion Stan Wawrinka is out.
Richard Gasquet of France beat the fourth-seeded Swiss 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 Wednesday on Court 1.
Gasquest, who reached the Wimbledon semifinals in 2007, will next face top-seeded Novak Djokovic on Friday.
Wawrinka reached the quarterfinals at the All England Club in 2013 for his best previous Wimbledon result. Last year, he lost in the first round.

It's 9-9 in the fifth set, with Stan Wawrinka and Richard Gasquet holding easily.
Gasquet won the first set and then the fourth to force a decider, and at Wimbledon there are no tiebreakers once you get to the fifth set.
The quarterfinal match is being played on Court 1, and the winner will face Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic is back in the Wimbledon semifinals for the sixth straight year.
The top-seeded Serb beat U.S. Open champion Maric Cilic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 Wednesday on Centre Court.
Djokovic, a two-time champion at the All England Club, will next face either Stan Wawrinka or Richard Gasquet, who were in the fifth set on Court 1.

Vasek Pospisil was docked a first serve because of a time violation, and he was none too happy about it.
The Canadian was playing Andy Murray on Wednesday in the Wimbledon quarterfinals on Centre Court when the chair umpire gave Pospisil a warning for taking too long to serve in the second set.
Pospisil, who lost 6-4, 7-5, 6-4, later drew a second violation in the third set and was penalized a first serve. Players have 30 seconds to serve after the previous point.
''I think a lot of times these umpires, they seem to just want to be seen. I don't know why they do it at a time like that,'' Pospisil said. ''I was right about to serve the ball. If he would have waited one second longer, I would have served.''
Neither the warning nor the penalty seemed to affect his play, even though Pospisil was broken each time.
''Of course, anytime somebody gives you a violation, it's going to have some kind of effect. It's a direct influence on the match, he gives me a violation,'' Pospisil said. ''But I don't think it affected me mentally very much.''

Andy is not the only Murray in the semifinals at Wimbledon this year - so is his older brother, Jamie, in men's doubles.
Andy reached the final four in the men's singles by beating Vasek Pospisil on Centre Court on Wednesday, a day after Jamie and partner John Peers of Australia made it that far in doubles.
The Murrays are the first brothers to reach the semifinals in singles and doubles at the same Wimbledon since John and Neale Fraser did it in 1962.
The Frasers both reached the singles semifinals and the doubles semifinals, with different partners. But neither reached the final in either event that year.

Andy Murray is through, and will next face Roger Federer in the Wimbledon semifinals.
Murray, the 2013 champion, beat Vasek Pospisil of Canada 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 Wednesday on Centre Court, finishing it off with the roof closed after a pair of rain delays.
Federer advanced to his 10th semifinal match at the All England Club by beating Gilles Simon of France 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. Federer is 9-0 at that stage in southwest London.

Roger Federer is one win away from another Wimbledon final.
The seven-time champion beat Gilles Simon of France 6-3, 7-5, 6-2 Wednesday to reach the Wimbledon semifinals for the 10th time. Federer is 9-0 at that stage at the All England Club.
Although Federer won in straight sets on Court 1, his serve was broken for the first time at this year's tournament. It didn't matter much, because Federer broke right back and then served out the second set.
Federer will play either Andy Murray or Vasek Pospisil in Friday's semifinals. Murray was leading that match 6-4, 7-5, 1-2 when Federer won.

Trailing 5-4 with Federer serving for the second set, Simon won four straight points to get back on serve.

Prince William and his wife Kate - the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - are in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.
Kate, wearing a bright red dress, and William, in a suit and tie, stood and clapped as Britain's Andy Murray walked onto Centre Court to face Vasek Pospisil in the quarterfinals.
Also in the Royal Box are Prince Albert of Monaco, British distance runner Paul Radcliffe, TV adventurer Bear Grylls and American tennis great and six-time Wimbledon singles champion Billie Jean King.
It's King's 55th appearance at Wimbledon. It's also the 48th anniversary of King sweeping the singles, doubles and mixed doubles titles on the same day at Wimbledon. In 1967, she beat Ann Haydon Jones 6-3, 6-4 for the singles title; teamed with Rosie Casals for the women's doubles title, and paired with Owen Davidson for the mixed doubles title.
There's royalty of another sort in the regular seats on Centre Court: former England soccer captain David Beckham and his son, Romeo.

While Serena Williams' bid for a calendar-year Grand Slam will continue in the Wimbledon semifinals, another attempt to win all four majors in a single season ended Wednesday - in women's doubles.
Bethanie Mattek-Sands of the United States and Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic arrived at the All England Club halfway to a true Grand Slam, having won the Australian Open and French Open in 2015. But their chance at a third major title came to a close with a quarterfinal loss at Wimbledon.
Mattek-Sands and Safarova, who were seeded third, were beaten Wednesday by the fifth-seeded American pair of Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears 6-3, 6-2.

Andy Murray was leading Vasek Pospisil 3-1 on Centre Court, and Roger Federer was 3-0 up against Gilles Simon on Court 1 when the players were sent back inside.

If the four favorites - No. 1 Novak Djokovic, No. 2 Roger Federer, No. 3 Andy Murray, No. 4 Stan Wawrinka - manage to win their quarterfinals, it would be the first time in 20 years that the men seeded 1-4 make the Wimbledon semifinals.
Back in 1995, this was the final four at the All England Club: No. 1 Andre Agassi, No. 2 Pete Sampras, No. 3 Boris Becker, No. 4 Goran Ivanisevic.
In the semifinals, Becker beat Agassi, and Sampras beat Ivanisevic. Sampras then beat Becker for the title.
Two of those players will be at Centre Court as coaches on Wednesday. Becker works with Djokovic, and Ivanisevic works with the defending champion's opponent, No. 9 Marin Cilic.
