UCLA Bruins wide receiver and safety Mossi Johnson is out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury, head coach Jim Mora told reporters on Sunday morning.

Johnson injured “about everything” in his knee during practice last week, including the ACL, PCL and MCL, Mora said, according to the Orange County Register. Mora said he will undergo surgery at some point in the future.

Johnson moved to safety three games into this season after Bruins’ cornerback Fabian Moreau broke his foot and was lost for the season.

Last season, Johnson had 23 receptions for 232 yards and recorded one touchdown.

UCLA has lost several key players to injury this season. Linebacker Myles Jack left school to prepare for the NFL Draft after tearing a ligament in his knee. Star defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes was also lost for the season with a torn ACL last month.

The Bruins (4–1) will play Stanford in their next game on Thursday.
