It's a tough time for Michigan fans, who are forced to live in a world where hated rival Ohio State is playing for the national championship.

Fortunately for those fans, Jim Harbaugh is in Ann Arbor to make them excited again, and his goofy enthusiasm is already paying off. Harbaugh joined Twitter shortly after becoming the Michigan coach, and he tweeted Thursday morning he's now following the Pope.

It's possible that Harbaugh is just a really big fan of the Pope. Or the Pope knows someone who can throw a 15-yard out and Harbaugh is trying to start a recruiting pipeline in Vatican City. Either way, the world is a better place with Harbaugh on Twitter.
