NFL Week 18 Player Props to Target

Target these four player props for Week 18, including a pair from the Patriots-Bills matchup.

Week 18 is the end of the NFL regular season and often holds strong incentives not only for teams fighting for playoff spots but also for players to reach milestone achievements. With many teams resting starters ahead of the postseason, bettors face inflated spreads that pose difficult to cover despite must-win situations.

If you are opposed to wagering on over-inflated point spreads in the final week of the regular season, backing players to surpass their betting proposition projections can be the way to increase your bankroll.

Respected money in Las Vegas has targeted four skill position players to outperform the expectations of oddsmakers Sunday.

Let’s take a deeper look at where they made investments!

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (17) throws in the first quarter of a Week 17 NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati.

Week 18 NFL Player Prop to Targets

Mac Jones OVER 0.5 Interceptions (-125)

As word continues to pour in on the amazing recovery of Bills safety Damar Hamlin, one bet clearly sticks out. His fellow defenders in the secondary will be extremely motivated to intercept Mac Jones and head straight for a celebration that can be seen by Hamlin back at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. You just know Buffalo defenders have something special planned for him to see. That celebration is just destined to take place and at these moderate odds of -125, bettors need to jump on board and invest. Jones will have to put the ball in the air with their Patriots postseason hopes on the line and you can count on at least one of his throws landing in the hands of the Bills.

Cam Akers OVER 88.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-125)

The second-year standout from Florida State has shined down the stretch amid a down season for the defending Super Bowl champions. Akers has rushed for 118-plus yards in back-to-back games and has been the Rams’ best offensive player since Week 13. In the regular-season finale, Los Angeles will be motivated to beat NFC West rival Seattle and eliminate themSeahawks from playoff contention. Akers finds a favorable matchup against a Seattle run defense that ranks 30th in the NFL and allows 150.5 rushing yards per game. Akers has been involved in the passing game over the last three games and averages 24.7 receiving yards per game, as well as an impressive average of 102 rushing yards per game over that span. In this game, bettors find a projection they need to exploit.

Jamaal Williams Anytime Touchdown (+100)

History could be made Sunday night when the Lions head into Lambeau Field to take on NFC North foe Green Bay. If Lions running back Jamaal Williams can score a touchdown, he will tie Barry Sanders’ franchise touchdown record. The veteran back faces a Packers’ defense that has allowed 13 total touchdowns to running backs this season. The Lions’ offense will be motivated to help Williams, who leads the NFL in touchdowns (15), to get his name etched in the record books alongside one of the NFL’s all-time great players. The ‘juice is worth the squeeze’ on his ‘Anytime Touchdown’ market at +100 odds.

Josh Allen OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-154)

We all know the anguish Buffalo players have experienced since seeing their teammate suffer such a traumatic injury. However, with all the positive news involving Hamlin’s recovery, the entire world is now breathing a huge sigh of relief that prayers have been answered. In the first meeting back in Week 13, Josh Allen threw for 223 yards and two touchdowns in the club’s 24-10 win. The Patriots have allowed eight passing touchdowns over their last three games and will be hard pressed to slow down Allen, who ranks third among all quarterbacks in touchdown passes (32). The MVP candidate, who has thrown multiple touchdowns in 10 of 16 (62.5%) games this season, will improve that mark Sunday.
