Three of the four best individual rushing seasons by a quarterback have happened in the last four years. An influx of talented — and willing — mobile signal-callers has raised the bar to pace the position in rushing yards.
Lamar Jackson led all quarterbacks with 695 rushing yards as a rookie in 2018. Four years later, that total would have ranked sixth behind Justin Fields, Jackson himself, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts and Daniel Jones, all of whom cleared 700 yards in 2022.
