Detroit Tigers (-123) vs. Cleveland Guardians

The Tigers have been on a roll despite trading away a few key pieces at the deadline. They’re 8-2 in their last 10 games, including a 6-4 win to open their series against Cleveland last night.

The Guardians have now lost three in a row and six of their last seven games to fall behind Detroit in the AL Central.

The Tigers are 31-27 at home, and they have a clear advantage on the mound with Framber Valdez facing off against Foster Griffin.

Miami Marlins (-108) vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

The Marlins have won three in a row to get back over .500. That includes a 2-0 victory against Paul Skenes and the Pirates last night.

Pittsburgh has been fading for a while, as the Buccos are just 1-6 in their last seven games. They’ve scored two runs or fewer in five of those six losses, and four runs in the other defeat.

Miami has been great at home all year long at 37-24, and Pittsburgh is just 28-33 on the road.

Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Angels UNDER 9 (-119)

The Rangers and Angels have both been struggling offensively.

The Rangers have scored five runs or fewer in 13 of their last 14 games, including three runs or less in seven of those contests. The Angels have been even worse, scoring four runs or fewer in 16 straight games.

It’s not a great pitching matchup with Cal Quantrill facing off against George Klassen, but this total is too high for these two squads.
