USC Trojans upset No. 7 Arizona 103–101 in quadruple overtime

USC upset No. 7 Arizona in quadruple overtime Saturday night.
The game was a true back-and-forth affair, with the Trojans finally prevailing thanks to two Elijah Stewart free throws with 23 seconds left in the game. The Wildcats went for the win at the end of the fourth overtime, but Kadeem Allen missed a three-pointer as time expired.
The loss was Arizona’s second straight defeat. The Wildcats trailed by eight at halftime before mounting a comeback and managing to stay alive numerous times.
USC held a late lead in each of the overtime periods, but Arizona tied the game with 20 seconds or less remaining in the first three extra periods.
Stewart was the star for the Trojans, scoring 27 points. Julian Jacobs added 18, while Jordan McLaughlin and Nikola Jovanovic scored 17 apiece.

Allonzo Trier scored 25 for the Wildcats in a losing effort, while Gabe York scored 21.
